HERE ARE YOUR NEXT STEPS
Baptism is an important part of our faith journey. If you are ready to take the next step in your faith journey by publicly proclaiming your commitment to following Jesus, read through the steps below.
STEP 1: PREPARE YOUR HEART
Please read Baptism 101, a tool designed to help you understand the significance of baptism and help determine if you are ready to be baptized. Baptism doesn’t make you a Jesus-follower, it simply shows that you are a Jesus-follower. Baptism does not save you, only your faith in Jesus does that.
STEP 2: REGISTER FOR THE BAPTISM CLASS
Select your campus on the left to register for the next baptism class. During the 1-hour class you will watch and discuss a baptism video and write your faith story. You will be scheduled for baptism upon completion of the baptism class.
Baptism for Elementary Students: Students in kindergarten – grade 5 participate in a different baptism process. Please see the “Elementary Kids Baptism” section here.
Child Dedication: Child Dedication is for infants and older children. This service is done publicly before family, friends, and our church community in demonstration of our collective commitment to raise this child up to know Jesus. Please see information about the Child Dedication class here.
STEP 3: SCHEDULE YOUR BAPTISM
When you understand the meaning, significance, and steps involved in baptism as a public expression of your faith in Jesus Christ, you are ready to schedule your baptism day! You will receive specific info from the baptism team. Don’t forget to invite friends and family to witness your baptism – it will make it more special!
NOTE: Families are welcome to be baptized together, but as baptism is an important personal decision, we recommend ages 12+ attend the baptism class with their family and children 10 and younger follow the process noted here.
